The U.S. military is not where you’d expect to hear about alternative energy innovations, but since the Department of Defense is our country’s biggest consumer of energy, the military has become a leader in the field. Their innovative solutions could potentially speed up the country’s transition from fossil fuels to greener technologies. However, in a market driven world, how can these advances be adopted for general consumption?
