Modeled after the practice of Yang Lu-chan, one of the best Gong Fu Masters during China’s Qing Dynasty, Yang style Tai Chi was practiced in Chinese imperial families to help princes and princesses to learn martial arts and live healthier lives. Practitioners of Tai Chi today present a form of martial arts as beautifully choreographed “dancing.” Health benefits include self-defense skills and stress relief, among many others.
