Expand your Career Options with a Master of Science in Law
There is an increasing demand for individuals with advanced scientific and technical training who can work in cross-functional roles in the space where law, business, and science/technology intersect. The one-year Master of Science in Law (MSL), now offered by the Northwestern Pritzker School of Law, is designed especially for STEM majors and provides practical, hands-on, business-centered legal training. Our innovative curriculum includes courses in IP & Patent Design; Business Law & Entrepreneurship; and Regulatory Analysis & Strategy. MSL students learn how to examine the interface of law, business, and science/technology; communicate across disciplines; develop, protect, and manage intellectual property; bring ideas to market; and navigate the legal and regulatory structures that exist in STEM setting. PhD and Postdoc Scholarships are available.
