Focusing on enhancing community and inclusivity in the classroom, this interactive workshop will include evidence-based tips for implementing group-worthy activities, forming groups, and dealing with the common challenges of facilitating group work.

Workshop Facilitators:

Sara Clifton is a fifth-year PhD candidate in the Engineering Sciences and Applied Mathematics department.

Chen He is a PhD candidate in Chemistry.

*STEM Workshops are part of CIRTL at Northwestern which serves graduate students and postdoctoral fellows to improve undergraduate learning in STEM.
