NU in Chicago presents Logan Square: Hip, but for whom?
Exploring a changing Chicago neighborhood.
Neighborhoods are dynamic. From Pilsen to North Lawndale, Chicago neighborhoods have experienced slow and dramatic transitions resulting from housing policy, development decisions and more.
Join NU in Chicago as we explore what these changes look like in Logan Square, a neighborhood on the city’s northwest side. Through a tour with the Logan Square Neighborhood Association – including conversations with long-time residents and a visit to The 606 (a unique new neighborhood park) – this trip will examine the relationship between development, inclusivity and sustainability in what has been called the “Midwest headquarters of hip.”
