Graduate students are invited to two discussions on Du Bois and Critical Philosophy of Race with Chike Jeffers, visiting Associate Professor of Philosophy at Dalhousie University.

Meeting 1: Research Du Bois

Meeting 2: Race as Cultural Construction
When: Monday, April 24th, 5pm

Each topic will be introduced by engaging with a suggested chapter from two of professor Jeffers’ ongoing projects: a book-length philosophic introduction to Du Bois (the first in the literature), and a co-authored book on the metaphysics of race.
