NRC Handelsblad praises the Dudok Kwartet Amsterdam for approaching composers from Ligeti to Mozart with “devotion and a wealth of sound, without weakening stylistic details.” The quartet’s honors and awards include the 2014 Kersjes Prize; two special prizes in the 2013 Quatuors à Bordeaux string quartet competition; and first prizes at the Radom (Poland) 2011 International String Quartet Competition and the 2012 Charles Hennen International Chamber Music Competition. The Dudok has collaborated with composers including Kaija Saariaho, Mark-Anthony Turnage, Calliope Tsoupaki, and Max Knigge. This Winter Chamber Music Festival performance marks their North American debut.
