To celebrate Homecoming 2017, the Dearborn Observatory will open for free public viewing from 8 to 11 pm on Oct 6, 2017 (for three hours instead of our normal two hours). NO RESERVATIONS will be taken for this special session--everyone is welcome to simply drop in.  All visitors should note that the dome is neither heated nor air-conditioned so please dress appropriately. This open house will be held "rain or shine," but of course, the telescope can only be used if the skies are clear. Unfortunately, the Dearborn is NOT ADA-accessible.
