Creative Writing program alumni return to give a reading.
YZ Chin's debut novel-in-stories, Though I Get Home (Feminist Press, 2018), is the winner of the inaugural Louise Meriwether First Book Prize.
She has also written a poetry chapbook deter (dancing girl press, 2013). Her current project is a dark fantasy, with an homage to Shirley Jackson appearing in Black Static issue #59.
Born and raised in Taiping, Malaysia, Chin now lives in New York. She works by day as a software engineer in C, and writes by night, cheered on by her husband and cat (separate beings).
