About SASE

The Society of Asian Scientists and Engineers (SASE) was founded in November 2007 and has since founded 83 collegiate chapters, as well as, 6 professional chapters. In addition to promoting the professional development of future scientists and engineers, SASE encourages members to celebrate their Asian heritage, advocates for diversity on campus and in the workplace, as well as provides opportunities to give back to the community. SASE is open to men and women of all majors and ethnic backgrounds. For more information, visit www.saseconnect.org.

The Northwestern chapter of SASE is established few years ago and growing as a new organization. We hold events throughout quarters, such as our Brown Bag Lunch, which provides students with the opportunity of getting to know a professor in a casual, comfortable setting, with a catered lunch. We also hold a mentorship program, pairing underclassmen and upperclassmen of similar majors. If you would like to get more involved with Northwestern’s chapter, please check out the Facebook page.
