Are you a graduate student wondering how your analytical skills might apply beyond your current field of study? Ph.D.s in fields as diverse as particle physics, marine geophysics, neurology, and seismology are having fun and making a big impact doing innovative analytics at Ford Motor Company. Data Scientists from Ford and a current Northwestern graduate student who has interned with us will host an interactive panel for all Northwestern graduate students. Please join Ford Motor Company for pizza, stories about transitioning from academia to industry, and an introduction to the exciting ways Ford's new Global Data, Insight, and Analytics skill team is using data to transform the automotive industry, from product design and manufacturing to marketing and customer interactions and from autonomous vehicles to new mobility solutions for the cities of the future.
This event is open to PhD students interested in analytics.
