CIERA Astronomer Evenings are special programs that take place on the last Friday of every month at Northwestern's Dearborn Observatory.
Astronomers Deanne and Rocco Coppejans will host on January 26. Rocco will make a presentation talking about his work to develop technology that will enable the next-generation of extremely large space telescopes, why this is important and how to launch a telescope with a diameter of 50 feet on a rocket with a diameter of 13 feet.
The talks are free and open to all!
