Governance and Development Study Group Meeting 3: Cameroon 

Yonatan Morse (Univ. of Connecticut), Landry Signé (Stanford), Martha Wilfahrt (Northwestern), and Richard Joseph will discuss the six decades of single-party dominance in Cameroon under two leaders, Ahmadu Ahidjo and Paul Biya. Popular resistance is spreading from the Anglophone region to other parts of the country. After the fall of Robert Mugabe in Zimbabwe, Paul Biya is now the longest-serving president (35 years) in the continent. (Food will be served.)
