Description:

Broader impacts are defined as the potential for research to benefit society and contribute to the achievements of specific, desired societal outcomes.

Are you interested in increasing the impact of your research? Would you like to connect with Northwestern researchers and community organizations who have formed partnerships around broader impacts? Are you looking for ideas to develop innovative and meaningful broader impacts activities for grant proposals?

Northwestern faculty of all disciplines as well as community partners are invited to share best practices, leverage resources, and build community around the broader impacts of research. The event will include three panels on the key topics of Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion, K-12 Education, and Adult Public Outreach. Please see the attached agenda and flyer for additional details, as well as a list of community partners attending this event.
