For thousands of years, meditation and other practices that train the mind have been used in the world’s philosophical, spiritual, and humanistic traditions to cultivate mental well-being. In the present day, a remarkable collaboration between some of the world’s leading neuroscientists and advanced meditators is beginning to shed new light on these ancient practices.
