Northwestern University’s ADCA (Advanced Degree Consulting Alliance) unites NU advanced
degree (M.A./M.Sc., M.D., J.D., Ph.D., and post-doctorate) students interested in pursuing
careers in management and discipline-specific consulting.
ADCA is proud to host the 4th annual Advanced Degree Consulting Summit (ADCS)​ from 12:30
– 5:00p on June 1st, 2018 ​at the Northwestern Lurie Baldwin Auditorium (Located in the Lurie
Medical Research Center, 303 E. Superior Chicago, IL 60611). The Summit is an opportunity for
advanced degree candidates to network with representatives from sponsoring firms and
discover how consulting engages transferable skills within a multitude of industries. Whether
you are about to embark on the job market or just starting to explore employment options
outside of academia, the Summit is a wonderful way to gain insight into the consulting industry.

ADCS 2018 Highlights:
● Panelists from select sponsoring consulting firms (BCG, McKinsey, Bain)
● The opportunity to submit your resume into a book for sponsors
● Networking events with recruiters and consultants
ADCS 2018 Schedule:
● 12:30-1:00pm: Registration and pre-networking
● 1:00-1:40pm: Panel 1: Sharing insights from consultants with advanced degree
background (4-5 consultants discussing their experiences and favorite cases)
● 1:40-2:20pm: Panel 2: Live resume / cover letter review (4-5 recruiters demonstrating a
review of sample resumes / cover letters and discussing tips for writing a good resume /
cover letter)
● 2:20-3:00pm: Panel 3: Case Interview preparation (4-5 consultants discussing their
experiences with case practicing)
● 3:00-5:00pm: Recruiting fair and networking social (an opportunity for students to
network with recruiters and consultants from different firms)
