Description:

A wine and cheese gathering for faculty and postdoctoral fellows in the humanities and qualitative social sciences who plan to write individual grant proposals to secure research leave. In this workshop, we'll review and discuss the merits/flaws of proposals with a select group of Northwestern faculty who have won and/or reviewed national grants. Ample time is planned for Q&A.

Conversation led by Kevin Boyle (History), Elizabeth Shakman Hurd (Political Science/Religious Studies/MENA), and Dassia Posner (Theatre and Slavic Languages and Literatures).
