Teaching Portfolios are an important part of the job application process, but it can often be challenging to understand how to develop and make them effective.
During the first session of this 2-day workshop, participants will engage in discussions and activities introducing the conventions of successful teaching portfolios and content for their own portfolios.
The second session will provide time for peer feedback on portfolios-in-progress and continue to generate and identify content to build a successful teaching portfolio.
Facilitators:
Nancy Ruggeri, Ph.D., Director, Graduate and Postdoctoral Learning, Searle Center for Advancing Learning and Teaching
Kate Flom Derrick, Senior Program Coordinator, Graduate and Postdoctoral Learning, Searle Center for Advancing Learning and Teaching
