New Faculty Workshop: Learning and Teaching at Northwestern University

Each fall the Searle Center for Advancing Learning and Teaching leads an interactive workshop to welcome new faculty into the Northwestern teaching community. The workshop focuses on:

         -student learning and motivation;
         -creatin an inclusive learning environment;
         -active and engaging teaching methods; and
         -other resources to support educational effectiveness.

Eligibility: All faculty new to the university are encouraged to attend.

*The day will begin with a continental breakfast at 8:30 am followed by welcome from the Provost Jonathan Holloway at 9:00 am. Agenda will be forthcoming.

Closest Parking structure is located at: South Campus Parking Garage, 1847 Campus Drive, Evanston, IL 60208. Nearest intercampus shuttle stop is the Weber Arch stop (across from the Scott Hall on Sheridan road.
