A physician from Cook County Correctional Center will talk about her experiences caring for this population.
Name, title, and biography of speaker or guest:
Elizabeth Feldman, MD: I am a family physician caring for the vulnerable incarcerated population at Cook County jail, with special interests in adolescent and young adult medicine, women's health, and reducing health disparities. After 20 years as residency faculty, I retain a strong interest in graduate medical education. My research interest at the moment centers on contraceptive knowledge, attitudes and practices of newly incarcerated urban women. I serve as faculty advisor to the FSM Correction Medicine Interest Group.
