Description:

Northwestern University has access to InnovationQ Plus (https://iq.ip.com/), an innovative patent discovery and analytics platform which semantically searches over 100 million full text global patents and critical non-patent literature. Students, faculty and librarians interested in entrepreneurship, innovation, patenting, or intellectual property are encouraged to attend this live demo to learn how to:

-Use the patented InnovationQ Plus semantic search engine to find valuable content that is buried in complex patent and technical documents

-View key visualizations to understand trends and reveal competitive intelligence and the market landscape

-Visualize concepts with the map tool to easily identify adjacent technologies and quickly highlight documents by specified organizations

-Use Standard & Poor's corporate tree to understand company relationships and find a company's complete patent portfolio

-Analyze your portfolio of patents to see concept and organizational relationships, identify areas of strength and weaknesses and understand filing trends
