One Book and Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) have partnered to have a intergenerational storytelling event, inspired by "The Moth" and "This Much is True". Special thank you to the Northwestern Theater Department and faculty members, Rives Collins and Lynn Kelso, for their help putting together the Storytelling Event.
The event will take place on November 14th at 5pm in the Norris Center, 1999 Campus Drive. Lake room (203) in Evanston. All current students are invited to sign-up to tell a story. A reception will follow the event.
Story prompt:
We all have stories. One Book celebrates storytellers inspired by great authors. Margaret Atwood looks at power, resistance, adaptation, women and many other themes in The Handmaid’s Tale. Perhaps the story you tell will reflect one of these themes or any other inspired by Atwood. For more information go to www.northwestern.edu/onebook.
