This course will introduce students to the foundations and techniques of Hip-Hop (street/urban) dance styles. Through the introduction of foundational vocabularies of specific dances and their social and cultural contexts, students will develop proficiency in a few core techniques that are seen across a wide variety of Hip Hop dance styles. Lessons will include exercises to build cardio, technique, flexibility and performance quality. No experience needed. Wear comfortable clothing/attire and sneakers.
