The Program in American Studies will be hosting a discussion with Professor Elliott Gorn (Loyola University) about his recently published book Let The People See: The Story of Emmett Till. The 1955 murder of Emmett Till in Money, Mississippi helped shape the Civil Rights Movement and and Professor Gorn will discuss how the historical account of this event has evolved over the following decades.
