Patrick is a technologist in the Assembly and Test Technology Development group at Intel. In his current role he focuses on the exploration and development of automation solutions across a very wide range of manufacturing relevant areas, including factory data systems, image analysis hardware & software design, UX design, knowledge management, context aware computing, and Factory 4.0 initiatives (Smart Manufacturing). In previously held roles Patrick worked on factory operation and material handling, scheduling and supply chain optimization. He earned his doctorate at the department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering of the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign in 2004.
