Office Hours is a recruitment initiative aimed at addressing any hesitation potential students may have in their consideration of Carle Illinois.  We've commonly encountered statements such as, 'I thought only engineering majors could apply to Carle Illinois,' 'My GPA and MCAT scores aren’t good enough,' and even 'I don’t know how to make my artifact.'  As Carle Illinois students, we empathize with the misconceptions and concerns that may dissuade prospective students from considering our institution. We believe that this initiative will help to dispel such barriers.

Our monthly Office Hours events will provide prospective applicants with insights into our institution and the medical school application process. The first Office Hours session is scheduled for April 4th, from 6-7 pm CST, and will be centered around demystifying the misconception of CIMED. While each session will have a different theme, the core agenda of Office Hours will spotlight current students and faculty members. Current students will share their experiences and answer questions about life at Carle Illinois, while faculty members will provide a more administrative perspective.
