-- the Unix shell and how to automate repetitive tasks;
-- Git and GitHub, and how to track and share work efficiently

Short tutorials alternate with hands-on practical exercises; you will work on your own laptop using native software. When the bootcamp is done, you will have a working environment with tools supporting reproducible research. Participants must install software required for the bootcamp before attending. Anyone having problems with the installing require software may come to the bootcamp an hour early to prepare. Detailed instructions for installation will be sent to participants.
REGISTRATION
Capacity is limited to 40 participants. Initial registration is limited to PhD students, faculty, and research staff in Kellogg, Economics, and Psychology. Registration is free, but seats are extremely limited and it is expected and essential that registrants be present both days.
