As part of the 150th anniversary of Charles Dawes’ birth, Northwestern Libraries explore the political campaign arena of this Evanston resident and vice president under Calvin Coolidge from 1925 to 1929. Drawing on the Charles G. Dawes archive held in the Charles Deering McCormick Library of Special Collections, this exhibit features political correspondence, speeches, original works by famed Chicago Tribune cartoonist John T. McCutcheon, and ephemera from presidential campaign trails from 1896 to 1924.

Free and open to the public during normal Deering Library hours.
