DESCRIPTION:Pediatrics Grand Rounds are held every Friday morning from 8:00 - 9:00 a.m. in the eleventh floor conference center at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago.  Distinguished Northwestern University faculty present\, along with other nationwide experts\, on various subject areas.   Recent topics have included Resident Simulation Training\, Adolescent Obesity\, Organ Donation\, and HPV Vaccination.  Accreditation Statement Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians. Credit Hour Statement Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine designates this live educational activity for a maximum of 1 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits ™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. Grand Rounds Learning Objectives At the conclusion of this activity\, participants will be able to: Discuss current diagnostic process for given disease presented. List treatment strategies for disease process being presented. Discuss pathophysiology for given disease presented. Identify and address safety and quality issues impacting management and outcome of the case presented.
