Biofeedback is a technique that you can learn to use your thoughts and breathing to control a bodily function such as heart rate to relax. This experiential workshop will have you using the Stress Eraser biofeedback device and learning and practicing other relaxation approaches (such as autogenic breathing, visualization, progressive muscle relaxation). In using these techniques, you can improve your physical and mental health and performance like:
positively impacting heart rate
blood pressure
breathing rate
stress hormones
blood flow to major muscles
muscle tension and chronic pain
concentration
mood
fatigue
anger
frustration
confidence to handle problems
