Juan Cole (WCAS ‘75) is a history professor at the University of Michigan and has written extensively on modern Islamic movements and has given numerous interviews on the war on terrorism. Cole speaks Arabic, Farsi and Urdu and has appeared on shows such as PBS’s Lehrer News Hour, Nightline, The Today Show, Anderson Cooper 360, Rachel Maddow, and The Colbert Report.
