Join us for a celebration of Arab cinema. Arabic lecturers Ragy Mikhaeel and Uri Horesh will present selected clips from films (in Arabic, with English subtitles) produced in Egypt, Palestine, Saudi Arabia and Syria. Issues pertaining to the cultural, historical and linguistic significance of each film will be briefly discussed. But all in all, our hosts will let the films do most of the talking (and singing!).
