“Citizen Diplomacy: Engaging Chicago in the World"

WorldChicago hosts delegates from around the world for professional, cultural, educational, and youth leadership exchange programs sponsored by the U.S. Department of State and other agencies. In 2014, WorldChicago hosted 925 delegates from 139 countries on short-term programs that explored topics such as education, law, entrepreneurship, and the arts. Peggy will discuss how her team connects emerging global leaders with Chicago-area experts and citizens, and the many opportunities for involvement including internships, volunteer hosting, professional hosting, and homestay hosting.
