Come unwind during the CAPS Stress Management Resource Center (SMRC) drop-in hours! Consult with CAPS staff and check out the egg chairs.
The SMRC is an individualized clinic designed to help you achieve peak performance and enhanced well-being when you need it most.
April 6th to June 3rd (closed May 25th)
Mondays, 10:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Wednesdays, 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.
Fridays, 10:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
The SMRC provides:
- A relaxing experience in our "egg chairs" where you can listen to our relaxation scripts (e.g., guided meditation, autogenic training) and/or relaxing music of your choosing (use our iPods or bring your own if you'd like).
- Biofeedback training, an empirically-supported method of treating stress, anxiety, and chronic pain.
- Strategies to modify thinking patterns that increase stress and interfere with performance and relationships.
