NU Library is expanding services to support the use of geographic information systems (GIS) in research and teaching. This session of Faculty & Fellows will introduce the capabilities of the software and the range of services available to faculty, staff and students. A case study of how GIS was used in an undergraduate international studies course will demonstrate the potential of using spatial analysis for investigating research questions.
This session will be led by:

Ann Aler, Geospatial / Cartographic Specialist in the NU Library
Galya Ruffer, Director, Center for Forced Migration Studies, Buffett Institute for Global Studies
