Students, faculty, staff, and all community members are invited to help make the City of Evanston a Heart Safe community by bringing the entire family to learn the valuable skills of Hands-Only CPR and Early Heart Attack Care.
Trainings will be offered at Tech, Norris, and University Hall, between 10am-3pm. Register at: http://bit.ly/1KUsctr
At the training sites, participants will:
Learn how to recognize the signs of a heart attack
Know when to call 911
Learn how to perform hands-only CPR
Learn how to properly use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
Community members can learn how to save a life in just 15 minutes, empowering themselves to be life savers and improving survival for out of hospital heart attacks and cardiac arrests.
