The International Studies Program Globla Cafe welcomes Megan Albaugh Bonham.

Megan will discuss Adler Planetarium's efforts to include greater human diversity in their museum exhibits. She will address her own involvement in Adler's initiative, as well as its potential for far-reaching effects. In addition, Megan will introduce attendees to the global dark sky movement, highlighting the goals and creative tactics of dark sky advocates.

Megan is a 3rd year PhD student in the Department of Sociology. She studies environmental sociology and is especially interested in human relationships with the night sky and the cosmos. She conducted research for her Masters thesis at the Adler Planetarium and also completed an internship with Adler's Visitor Engagement team.
