This evening's speakers are journalists Robin Yassin-Kassab and Leila Al-Shami, the authors of Burning Country: Syrians in Revolution and War. Robin Yassin-Kassab is a regular media commentator on Syria and the Middle East, the author of the novel The Road To Damascus, and a contributor to Syria Speaks. Leila Al-Shami is a founding member of Tahrir-ICN, a network that aims to connect anti-authoritarian struggles across North Africa, the Middle-East, and Europe.
