The Master of Science in Law (MSL) offered by the Northwestern Pritzker School of Law is a one-year degree designed especially for students with majors in science, technology, engineering, math, or medicine (STEM). The unique and innovative MSL provides practical, focused, business-centered legal training that prepares students for careers at the intersection of law, business, and technology. MSL students learn how to communicate across disciplines; bring ideas to market; develop, protect, and manage intellectual property; and navigate the legal and regulatory landscape. Our hands-on curriculum includes classes in Business Law and Entrepreneurship; Intellectual Property & Patent Design; and Regulatory Analysis and Strategy. The versatile program allows students to tailor their course of study to meet their own professional goals. With MSL training, students can distinguish themselves from other STEM graduates and are well equipped to pursue careers in entrepreneurship; consult ing; patent preparation and prosecution; IP and patent portfolio management; data security; regulatory compliance and strategy; healthcare management; medical science liaison; and more. Scholarships are available.

Come to the open house to learn more, connect with MSL students and staff, observe a class, and take a tour of the Law School.
