Coming back from a study abroad program for winter quarter can be especially difficult. The long, dark days coupled with a return to regular campus life could promote feelings of boredom or isolation. It may be hard to reconnect with those who didn’t share your overseas experiences. Such feelings are perfectly normal and are oftentimes referred to as reverse culture shock.
Led by a Peace Corps Returned Volunteer, Jessica Vig, this informal workshop will go over common re-entry challenges for study abroad returnees and offer practical advice as well as campus resources.
