Faculty Workshop - Encouraging Risk and Failure in Learning
Wednesday, March 1, 2017
1:00pm-2:30pm
Not surprisingly, we often focus on helping our students succeed. However, research has long suggested that giving students the space, time and permission
to take risk, try new ideas, and even fail can lead to deeper learning, enhanced
creativity, and improved critical thinking. In this interactive session, we
will explore strategies that faculty in different disciplines may use to encourage risk while learning.
*Registration Required. Please register.
Location: Current location is not wheelchair accessible. Please note we may move the location at the Evanston Campus if needed. Please keep a look out for the location announcements closer to the event data.
