Target Audience
This CME program has been designed to meet the educational needs of Cardiologists, Internists, Obstetrician-Gynecologists, Hospital Medicine Physicians, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, Residents and Nurses and any other health care professionals who participate in the care of women across the life span.

Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:
1. Compare and contrast characteristics of presentations and outcomes of CV disease in women with respect to hypertension, dyslipidemias, arrhythmias and chest pain
2. Outline current and emerging medical and lifestyle strategies for the treatment of hypertension and lipid disorders in women including the use of newer pharmaceutical agents
3. Outline the clinical pathway used to evaluate chest pain in women and identify where it differs from men
4.Develop an interdisciplinary plan of care between obstetricians and primary care for the pregnant patient with, or at risk for, cardiovascular complications
5. Describe best practices in the treatment of arrhythmias in women including stroke mitigation strategies
6. Discuss the cardiovascular effects of select cancer therapies including approaches to mitigate adverse effects
7. List the latest recommendations to address menopause, hormones and impact on the development of cardiovascular disease
