Guest speaker, Jane Ogilvie, postdoctoral research associate, Rocky Mountain Biological Laboratory and Florida State University. She was formally trained as a botanist at the University of Brisbane, but her research has long focused on plant-pollinator interactions, plant reproduction, and the foraging behavior of bees. Most recently, her work explores how variation in flowering phenology and floral abundance can influence plant pollination. Beyond her fascinating research, Jane is an avid natural historian, an intrepid bicycle rider, an amazing bread baker, and a fabulous artist.
