Christine Ortiz is a professor of materials science and engineering at MIT, and former dean for graduate education, who has taken leave in order to found a new residential research university. Her vision is to build a university centered around project-based learning that is radically different from existing university models. This bold vision aligns well with the goals of our Innovation in Teaching Series and we are delighted that Christine will visit us for the final event of the Academic Year as our Distinguished Visiting Academic Innovator. Below are links to a couple articles describing Christine’s work.
