Join us for this special onstage conversation with Raimi in which he will shed light on his distinctive approach to filmmaking that lead to the creation of two celebrated franchises and many unique projects.
Sam Raimi is the 2016-17 Virginia Wadsworth Wirtz Visiting Artist. The program was established through a generous gift by Wirtz’s grandson, W. Rockwell “Rocky” Wirtz. Rocky Wirtz (C75) studied communications in the Northwestern University School of Communication and in 2007 became president of the Wirtz Corporation and Chairman of the Chicago Blackhawks. He is a member of the Northwestern University Board of Trustees and has served on the School of Communication’s National Advisory Board since 1986.
