Materialities of Dissent

This roundtable will familiarize people with the range of activism in the Chicago area; present resources for local engagement; and outline the nuts and bolts of involvement in resistance. Speakers will discuss their work with local communities in mobilizing dissent; the changing nature of protest under a Trump administration; and practical knowledge related to current protest agendas. We aim to connect tactics for engagement, mobilization, and organization to forge an effective toolbox of strategies for resistance.
