The Searle Center for Advancing Learning and Teaching is hosting a half-day event to talk about inclusive teaching and learning at Northwestern. One of the challenges we face is making our classrooms and learning environments accessible, equitable and inclusive for all Northwestern students.
The Inclusive Teaching Forum will bring together faculty, staff, and students to share narratives and experiences, and explore the ways in which Northwestern can develop by looking at our community and ourselves in substantive ways to advance inclusive teaching.
We are planning faculty and student panels, breakout group discussions, brainstorming on developing case studies, and idea formation around creating a common framework for inclusive teaching.
