Title: Ion Traps Experiments

Abstract:

In this talk I will review some of the recent work perform at the CIML group at Aix-Marseille University (France) regarding ion traps. In particular, I'll present numerical simulations regarding sympathetic cooling of highly charge ions [1] and large ion cloud transport between macroscopic traps [2], and some interesting physics that can be done in higher order traps[3].
