Global Cafe - Bio-Cultural Diversity and Environmental Conservation in South America: Anthropological Approaches

The Global Cafe is excited to host Theresa L. Miller, an Environmental Social Scientist with the Keller Science Action Center Andes-Amazon team at the Field Museum, where she works on supporting cultural and ecological wellbeing for Indigenous and traditional communities in South America. She also researches and has conducted ethnographic fieldwork on Indigenous agrobiodiversity conservation in Brazil. Theresa received her masters and PhD in Anthropology from the University of Oxford, UK and recently completed a postdoctoral fellowship in the Department of Anthropology at the Smithsonian's National Museum of Natural History in Washington, DC.
