The Institute for Sustainability and Energy at Northwestern (ISEN) is partnering with the German American Chambers of Commerce (GACC) to offer this innovation seminar.

Join us for a FREE transatlantic knowledge exchange and build your network by meeting leading global industry players.

The event will feature a guest speaker from Werner Sobek, an engineering and architecture firm focused on sustainable building and materials that developed a Triple Zero standard which re-quires buildings to have zero energy from outside sources, zero carbon dioxide emissions and zero waste production. Representatives from a variety of high-profile German companies that focus on energy and sustainability be also be featured involved

* Enrica Oliva, M.Sc. Struct. Eng., Partner and COO, Director of Structures Group, Werner Sobek New York Corp. Enrica’s experience in the Construction Industry includes 9 years of design and project management at Thornton Tomasetti, Inc. in New York, as well as the subsequent role of Director of Structures at Werner Sobek New York, taken on in 2016. At Werner Sobek New York, Enrica is currently managing a luxury penthouse-only residential project in Chelsea, New York, as well as prestigious Academic projects in the New York City, Chicago and Boston areas. Enrica and her Team work with Architects from all over the World, including Germany and often collaborates with the Headquarters in Stuttgart, on projects in the U.S., Europe and the Middle East. She also acts as the U.S. spokesperson for the Company’s achievements in the World of Sustainability, technological advancements, Research and Innovation, and promotes efficient and sustainable solutions in multiple aspects of the project design.
